2* 35.45gm of Cl -> 2*(23 + 35.45)gm of NaCl from the above reaction


so 2 * 35.45 gm of Cl or 70.9gm of Chlorine.

Molar mass of NaCl = (23 + 35.5) = 58.5g/mol.

35.5g of Cl = 58.5 g of NaCl

71 g of Chlorine would be required to produce 117g of NaCl.
