To turn 12.5% into a decimal, you simply take off the percent sign and move the decimal to the left two places, giving us 0.125.

To make it a fraction, you put the percent out of 100 and you see if it simplifies. We see that the numerator and denominator are both divisible by 12.5, giving us 1/8.

FRACTION: 1/8
