width=4m

32 =2x × x

32 =2x²

Divide both side by the co-efficient of x which is 2

=32/2=2x²/2

16=x²

Find the square root of both sides to make x² change to x

therefore width=x

=4cm

length=2x

=2(4)

=8cm
