You need to find a common denominator for the equation 1/18+ 5/6

That would be 18. Since 1/18 already has a denominator of 18 there is no need for anything to happen, but as for 5/6 you need to multiply it by 3. Whatever you do at the bottom, you do at the top, so the fraction would be 15/18 now you just need to add them up in which you get 16/18 but if need to simplify it, you need to divide it by 2 which is 8/9


So the answer is 8/9
