First find the area of the triangle. The equation is:
A= 1/2*b*h
A=1/2*3.6*4.8
A= 8.64

Then find the area of the semicircle.
If the equation of a circle is A=pi*r^2, then the equation of a semicircle is
A=(pi*r^2)/2
A=(pi*1.8*1.8)/2 (radius=1.8 because 3.6/2 =1.8)
A=5.09

For the total, 5.09+3.64 = 8.73

Hope this helps!
