4/5 × 10 = 4/5 × 10/1 = 40/5 = 8

First you convert 10 into a fraction by putting 1 as the denominator. Then multiply 10 by 4 to get 40 and 5 by 1 to get 5. Then divide both the numerator and denominator to get your quotient of 8
