It would be a ray, because it’s continually moving in one direction.
A line is doesn’t have any endpoint and it goes forever in both directions.
A point is just a dot.
A line segment has two endpoints and it doesn’t go forever in either direction.
A plane is a flat surface that goes continually in both directions.
And a ray has one endpoint and continues in one direction, like your laser pointer.
