In wind pollinated species, the anthers hang out of the flower so they can be dispersed in the wind. The pollen is usually smooth or has air sacs and the stigma is feathery to increase the surface area so it can be carried far, easily.
In animal pollinated species, the anthers are clearly displayed so animals can find them and the pollen is spiky and sticky so it can attach to the pollinator to be carried.
